Ontario-based Brockville General Hospital and Sysmex Canada announced the hospital’s installation and implementation of a Sysmex XN-2000 automated hematology analyzer. This is the first Sysmex XN series analyzer to be installed in Canada.
The compact automated hematology analyzer provides the hospital’s clinical laboratory with expanded clinical and operational capabilities to meet changing workload demands and testing complexity that may accompany an aging population, while withstanding future medical technologist shortages.
The Sysmex XN series suite of products includes the XN-1000, XN-2000, XN-3000, and XN-9000 automated hematology analyzers. These configurations are built on the company’s Silent Design concept, which provides a simplified operation system and user interface that enables an expanded parameter menu for a lab’s evolving clinical needs; configurable modularity for a lab’s workflow needs; and a reagent-handling system that saves time and storage space.
