Interest in lung disease has exploded in recent years due to a staggering number of developments in diagnosis and treatment. Where there was once no hope, there is now optimism and excitement. The Pulmonary Pathology Society is the world’s largest organization of experts in lung pathology. Our 2017 Biennial Meeting will take place at the University of Chicago’s Gleacher Center on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile on June 13 through 16. More than 80 expert faculty from 20 different countries will provide the most current updates and breaking news on topics such as Lung Cancer Biomarkers, Immune Therapy, Liquid Biopsy, Lung Cancer Diagnosis, Thoracic Cytology, Pleural Tumors and Non-Neoplastic Lung Diseases. We invite you to join us and attendees from across the United States and around the world at the definitive assembly on lung disease for 2017. –Philip Cagle, MD
