The 2.5-day course presents a broad over-view of thoracic pathology with clinical correlation. The course provides the new advances in surgical and molecular pathology in the field of lung, pleura and mediastinum and relevant clinical information by a distinguished faculty from Massachusetts General Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and other academic institutions. Featured topics include: 1. Updated CAP/IASLC/AMP guidelines by Neal Lindeman; 2. Lung cancer including new lung cancer staging issues and predictive biomarkers in lung cancer by Bill Travis, Dr. Natasha Rehktman, Lynette Sholl and Mari Mino-Kenudson; 3. Pathology of interstitial lung disease by Bill Travis; 4. IgG4 related disease of the lung by Joanne Yi, 5. Pathology of acute lung injury and infectious disease by Richard Kradin; 6.
