FT3 added to Validate THY kit, 4/18

April 2018—LGC Maine Standards announced it has enhanced the Validate THY linearity and calibration verification kit by adding free triiodothyronine (FT3) as a component of total triiodothyronine (TT3).

The Validate THY kit, in a human serum matrix, evaluates cortisol, free thyroxine (FT4), free triiodothyronine, thyroid stimulating hormone, total thyroxine (TT4), and total triiodothyronine. Each kit is liquid and ready to use, is prepared using the CLSI EP06-A equal delta sample preparation, and offers five distinct concentrations covering the reportable range.
