February 2014—AgileBio released an add-on for LabCollector called SNP Manager, which is dedicated to the treatment of single nucleotide polymorphism genotyping workflows. Users can generate picking lists and instructions files for tube pickers (Tube Sorter and Floyd 2D) and genotyping process (Fluidigm EP1) machines. Combined with LabCollector’s Samples and Documents modules, the SNP Manager add-on allows users to manage tubes and plates containing markers such as storage location, stock quantity, status, and suppliers ordering.
