May 2018—Binding Site’s Immunologicals Group announced the addition of sheep anti-human, monkey adsorbed, IgG polyclonal antibodies designed for use with a variety of testing procedures, especially enzyme immunoassays, for research applications.

Available in two main classes—those targeted to IgG (Fc) and those targeted to IgG (intact/H+L)—the affinity-purified antibodies demonstrate minimal species cross-reactivity with monkey serum proteins, due to insoluble adsorption techniques utilized during manufacturing. They also feature exceptional lot-to-lot consistencies and offer extended shelf-life stability. The antibodies can be supplied in an unconjugated format or preconjugated to either fluorescein isothiocyanate or horseradish peroxidase.

The company also announced the addition of two sheep anti-human IgA and IgM antibodies for in vitro diagnostic manufacturing and research applications. These unconjugated, affinity-purified polyclonal antibodies are designed for use as an integral component within a variety of test procedures, especially ELISA and Western blot. They demonstrate high degrees of specificity and display minimal species cross-reactivity with bovine, mouse, and rat serum proteins.
