May 2017—Streck and GenomePrecision Technology, an integrated molecular diagnostics distributor in China, have signed a distribution agreement for Streck’s cell stabilization, molecular, urinalysis, and flow cytometry products.
Streck’s cell stabilization products include Cell-Free DNA BCT and Cell-Free RNA BCT, which stabilize nucleated blood cells, and Cell-Free DNA Urine Preserve.
Streck’s molecular product line includes the ARM-D Kits for the detection of antibiotic resistance genes by multiplex real-time PCR and the soon-to-launch rapid real-time PCR instrument, the Zulu RT, which is capable of 40 cycle reactions in 20 minutes or less.
Streck also announced a distribution agreement with Ruwag Diagnostics, a medical diagnostic and life sciences products distributor in Switzerland, for Streck’s cell stabilization and molecular products. Products included are Cell-Free DNA Urine Preserve; Cyto-Chex BCT, a blood collection tube for the preservation of whole blood specimens for immunophenotyping by flow cytometry; Cell-Free DNA BCT CE, a direct-draw blood collection tube that stabilizes nucleated blood cells and prevents the release of genomic DNA; and Cell-Free RNA BCT CE, a blood collection tube with a patented preservative that stabilizes circulating RNA in plasma and prevents the release of non-target background RNA from blood cells during sample processing and storage. Cell-Free DNA BCT CE and Cell-Free RNA BCT CE are for export only, not for sale in the U.S.
