Cytopathology And More

Last year, almost 5,000 Pap cases and more than 850 nongynecologic cytology and FNA Glass Slide cases were accepted into the interlaboratory comparison programs, and the Cytopathology Committee and all of the CAP thank those who donated and the institutions that made the donations possible.

The outstanding case material provided to the Pap, NGC, and FNAG programs is the primary reason we have been able consistently to provide effective educational products to participants. Without your contributions, there would be no interlaboratory comparison programs.

The USFNA Advanced Practical Pathology Program (USFNA AP³) April 6-7, 2013, Dallas, Texas, provide board-certified pathologists with the opportunity to master specialized FNA biopsies breast and thyroid biopsies using soft-tissue phantoms.
