November 2019—Agilent Technologies introduced its xCELLigence RTCA eSight multimode real-time cell analyzer. The research use only system provides label-free, real-time biosensor measurements and kinetic imaging of the same live cell populations independently or simultaneously. Users can monitor cell health, adhesion, morphology, proliferation, and cytolysis in primary or native cells, alone or in co-culture. The analyzer supports three fluorescence channels and reads a 96-well plate in 15 seconds.
In a separate release, the company introduced its NovoCyte Advanteon Flow Cytometer. The system can be configured with one, two, or three lasers and up to 21 fluorescence channels, has a 7.2-log dynamic range, and can discern particles in the range of 100 nanometers. Novo-Express software provides data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
