Epredia introduces slide printing system at USCAP

March 9, 2020—Epredia introduced its SlideMate Pro slide printing system at USCAP, Feb. 29–March 5, in Los Angeles. It was the first time the company attended USCAP; Epredia was established in July 2019 through an acquisition by PHC Group from Thermo Fisher Scientific.

“Despite having a new name, Epredia has been the source of highly innovative diagnostic tools for pathologists for over 80 years. We are powered by trusted and well-established brands, such as Erie Scientific, Menzel-Gläser, Microm, Shandon, and Richard-Allan Scientific,” Jim Post, president of Epredia, said in a company press release. “We want to be a close partner of the pathology community,” he added, “as we aim to achieve our mission to improve lives by enhancing cancer diagnostics.”

Epredia also showcased its ArcosSL slide management system and Cryostar NX50 cryostat, among other products, at USCAP.
