June 21, 2021—LGC SeraCare released two blood tumor mutational burden reference standards, Seraseq Blood TMB Score 7 and Seraseq Blood TMB Score 26. The products complement the company’s Seraseq I-O portfolio of tissue-derived Seraseq gDNA TMB Score 7 and Score 26 and Seraseq FFPE TMB Score 7 and Score 26 products.
The reference standards are fragmented and blended at zero percent, 0.5 percent, and two percent tumor fractions and are available as a purified ctDNA mix and ready as input into whole exome sequencing or targeted NGS library preparation. Blood TMB scores are determined using a targeted NGS panel (TSO500 plasma). The standards are manufactured in GMP-compliant and ISO 13485–certified facilities.
