February 2014—BioMérieux is moving forward with its comprehensive automation solution for reference or centralized molecular biology laboratories and has selected Life Technologies’ 7500 instruments as its preferred thermocyclers.
BioMérieux’s comprehensive automation solution will consist of three modules from samples to results, including BioMérieux’s NucliSENS easyMAG sample purification platform; BioMérieux’s easyStream liquid-handling system for PCR setup, which is being prepared for launch; and Life Technologies’ Applied Biosystems real-time PCR instruments. BioMérieux’s NucliSENtral middleware will connect the platforms.
