Parainfluenza virus antigens

July 2018—Binding Site’s Immunologicals Group has added three parainfluenza virus antigens for in vitro diagnostic manufacturing and research applications. The Parainfluenza Virus Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3 antigens have been designed for use in solid phase enzyme immunoassay test procedures, especially ELISAs. The antigens exhibit exceptional purity levels as a result of chromatographic manufacturing techniques while demonstrating exceptional lot-to-lot consistencies and high degrees of activity and specificity, the company says. The Immunologicals Group also added  two polyclonal sheep anti-human, affinity-purified, fluorescein isothiocyanate–conjugated, monkey-adsorbed antibodies for use in a variety of testing procedures, especially enzyme immunoassays. The anti-immunoglobulin antibody and the anti-IgG Fc targeted antibody demonstrate minimal species cross-reactivity with monkey serum proteins due to insoluble adsorption techniques used during manufacturing.
