December 2020—Thermo Fisher Scientific introduced a service designed to enable its team of technical experts to monitor Wi-Fi-connected Thermo Scientific TSX series ultra-low temperature freezers.
The Thermo Scientific Smart Connected Services feature monitors 37 types of alarms and 26 operating parameters to provide a status overview of connected TSX series ULT freezers. It includes the monitoring of ambient and cabinet temperature, power failure, battery status, door ajar, connectivity signal, filter efficacy, and other parameters, events, and alarms. The company’s technical experts will analyze the collected data to identify out-of-specification operation and provide laboratories with reactive warnings and long-term proactive maintenance recommendations.
The feature is available with the new Unity Lab Services Total Care Warranty and service plan portfolio when applied to TSX series ULT freezers.
