Thermo Scientific, Inpeco to develop LC-MS, TLA connectivity

July 13, 2022—Thermo Fisher Scientific announced an agreement with Inpeco S.A. to develop connectivity between the Thermo Scientific Cascadion SM automated liquid chromatography mass spectrometer and the Inpeco FlexLab total laboratory automation system. The interface will enable primary tubes on the Inpeco lab automation system to be transported to the Cascadion analyzer for automated loading, pretreatment, and analysis.

The Cascadion assay menu includes total vitamin D, D2, and D3, for use in the Unites States, Canada, select EU countries, U.K., Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Brazil, and immunosuppressive drug therapeutic drug monitoring for cyclosporine A, tacrolimus, sirolimus, and everolimus, for use in select EU countries, U.K., Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Brazil. Additional therapeutic drug monitoring tests are in development.
