March 18, 2026—Roche received CLIA moderate complexity categorization for its Ionify steroid assays for mass spectrometry. The assays include estradiol, DHEA, DHEA-S, progesterone, 17-hydroxyprogesterone, and androstenedione and run on the Cobas i 601 analyzer as part of the Cobas Mass Spec solution. Roche’s Ionify 25-hydroxy vitamin D total assay received CLIA moderate complexity designation last year.
