May 2026—Omnia Inventa Medical has introduced the Lymph Node Locator 300, an FDA class I, 510(k)-exempt device designed to standardize lymph node retrieval from fatty tissue in oncologic specimens. The LNL300 applies an acetone compression method to remove fat and convert mesenteric tissue into a compact, uniform stromal block. The block can then be directly sectioned into standard cassettes, enabling systematic histological examination of the entire relevant tissue matrix. The benchtop device aims to ensure a consistent and reproducible workflow that is independent of operator variability and requires no consumables, maintenance, or specialized infrastructure.
