June 2014—SeraCare launched its Accurun 611 product, a reference material that provides heterozygous, mutant, or wild-type scores for Factor II, Factor V, and Methlyenetetrahydrofolate reductase. It is ready-to-use genomic DNA manufactured from immortalized peripheral blood mononuclear cells derived from human samples. Mutations were confirmed by a variety of commercial SNP genotyping assays, providing a robust challenge for all mutations in two vials.
