Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Sysmex CS-5100 system, a random-access high-volume coagulation analyzer, is now available in Europe, Africa, Canada, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand. It is equipped with multi-wavelength preanalytical sample integrity technology, enabling high-volume laboratories to achieve first-run accuracy by identifying and managing unsuitable test specimens before analysis.
The system also has third-generation cap-piercing technology, which contributes to reduced processing time and maintains high-throughput capability. Efficiency is also gained via a wide optical spectrum, which allows clotting, chromogenic, immunologic, and agglutination testing capabilities. Additionally, with an onboard capacity of up to 3,000 tests and up to 40 reagents, the system provides extended walkway time to streamline workflow.
The Sysmex CS-5100’s test results correlate with all other Siemens Sysmex CS and CA hemostasis systems, and the CS-5100 also uses the same reagents, controls, calibrators, and consumables.
