December 2018—Knowledge-Quest announced a new virtual textbook titled “Diagnostic Encyclopedia of Medicine,” or DxEM, a digital library for medical diagnosis available at dxconcur.com. DxEM has more than 11,000 causes of human illness, including diseases, drugs, toxins, bioterrorist agents, animals, plants, and chemicals, and more than 8,000 images, graphs, and videos of medical conditions.

“This new highly structured file has the ability to produce amazing analyses of its contents and to allow a diagnostic ‘video game’ using symptoms, tests, and a variety of clinical variables,” the company reports. The site has a medical alert ticker that tracks breaking medical news around the world, and its database is updated monthly.
