TTF1, napsin A tests for lung cancer diagnostics

February 2021—Novodiax launched two rapid IhcDirect antibody assays, TTF1 and napsin A, for in vitro diagnostic use.

The assays use the Novodiax polymerized horseradish peroxidase chemistry, which aims to help improve staining sensitivity and increase test speed. When paired with an antibody such as p40, these antibodies can be highly sensitive and specific for distinguishing different forms of lung cancer.

IhcDirect TTF1, napsin A, and p40 assays are ready to use and perform well in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded histology as well as frozen tissue sections. The assays can be performed manually or adapted to open automated IHC systems.
