March 26, 2024—Gestalt Diagnostics announced the launch of its AI Algorithm Evaluator, a new tool within the company’s PathFlow digital pathology platform. The algorithm evaluator enables users to compare the results of similar algorithms simultaneously to provide insights into their strengths, weaknesses, and overall performance. Other features include the ability to customize scoring parameters that align with users’ specific requirements; monitor historical scores, identify trends, and make decisions based on long-term data; and provide a digital audit trail to document the basis on which algorithms are selected.
The company also announced an expansion of its education module to include proficiency testing, credentialing, credential management, and results comparison features.
Both new features are being demonstrated at the USCAP annual meeting, March 23–28, in Baltimore.
