August 2024—Bruker Corp. announced the launch of mass spectrometry systems at the American Society for Mass Spectrometry 72nd annual conference on mass spectrometry and allied topics, June 2–6, in Anaheim, Calif.
The Neoflex Imaging Profiler is a benchtop MALDI-TOF/TOF system for mass spectrometry–based tissue imaging. It enables facile OME-TIFF file output via the new SCiLS Scope software. The Neoflex comes standard with Bruker’s proprietary 10 kHz smartbeam 3D laser for true pixel fidelity and with enhanced imaging detectors designed for longitudinal robustness, stability, and reproducibility in linear and reflector modes.
The company also launched its TimsTOF Ultra 2 system with enhanced sensitivity for deep profiling of small cells, subcellular organelles, as well as increased sample loading flexibility. Biognosys’ newly launched Spectronaut 19 software is specifically trained on TimsTOF MS/MS for 4D-Proteomics performance improvements and is fully integrated into the TimsTOF Ultra 2. The company also launched OmniScape top-down proteoform software for automated, near-complete protein sequence coverage from MALDI-ISD and LC-TIMS-MS/MS data.
