May 2026—Bruker’s microbiology and infection diagnostics division launched at ESCMID Global (April 17–21, Munich) the MyGenius Pro system in Europe. Designed for infectious disease diagnostics, the fully automated, high-throughput molecular diagnostics system enables continuous loading of samples, consumables, and reagents, supports random-access operation, and automates the workflow from patient sample to diagnostic result. The MyGenius Pro IVDR menu includes assays for cytomegalovirus and Epstein-Barr virus from whole blood and BK virus from urine. Additional assays, including HIV-1, hepatitis B and C virus, human herpesvirus 6, and sample matrices are planned for release throughout the year. The platform was developed in collaboration with EliTechGroup and Hitachi High-Tech Corp., which will introduce the platform in Japan under the trade name Labospect GA-5.
