Digital Pathology Connections, a worldwide community for professionals interested in the digital future of the anatomic pathology laboratory, debuted at the Pathology Visions 2022 conference, held in Las Vegas, Oct. 16–18. Digital Pathology Connections (DPC) is a virtual community providing educational content and enabling discussions on trending topics in pathology, curated by pathologists at the forefront of digital transformation and hosted on a platform powered by Leica Biosystems.
The concept for DPC was catalyzed by the formation in 2021 of the Global Task Force for Digital Pathology, an alliance of the Digital Pathology Association, European Society for Digital and Integrative Pathology, and Japanese Society of Digital Pathology to promote the worldwide adoption of digital pathology, according to a press release from Leica Biosystems.
