Labcon awarded $59.3 million to increase pipette production

Oct. 25, 2021—Labcon North America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Helena Laboratories, has announced a $59.3 million contract award from the U.S. Department of Defense in coordination with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Labcon will increase its production capacity from 100 million to 236 million pipette tips per month; monthly tube production will increase from 27 million to approximately 58 million by October 2025.
