At the AACC show 2015

New products featured by Streck this year included CD-Chex CD103 Plus, a flow cytometry control. It includes CD103, CD30, CD38, CD56, CD138, and cytoplasmic lambda in a single control and provides reference values for CD38. The control includes rare leukemia and lymphoma CD markers that are absent in normal whole blood. CD-Chex CD103 Plus provides assayed values for these rare markers, eliminating the need for laboratories to hold and validate patient samples for use as a control. This control offers 30-day open-vial stability and up to 90-day closed-vial stability and is designed for use on BD Biosciences and Beckman Coulter flow cytometry systems. It is for research use only.

Streck also showcased the Temp-Chex Digital II, a NIST-traceable thermometer built to withstand a wide temperature range and suitable for freezers, refrigerators, and incubators. Its features include programmable low/high alarm, date and time stamp, 10-event recording, easy-to-read digital display, and choice of optional display modes. Temp-Chex Digital II measures temperature from –50°C to 200°C and has a minimum/maximum temperature memory. The unit can be mounted magnetically, adhesively, by keyhole or flip-out desk stand, inside or outside the temperature-controlled area. The thermometer probe is immersed in a vial of glass beads so readings will not fluctuate with the opening or closing of doors.

Featured, too, was the new research-use-only Philisa Real-Time PCR System, the research-use-only ARM-D for β-Lactamase ID kit, and Cell-Free DNA Urine Preserve.
