July 10, 2025—Gestalt showcased its AI-powered pathology platform, PathFlow, at the DICOM WG-26 2025 Connectathon, cosponsored by the Digital Pathology Association and European Society of Digital and Integrative Pathology. The event, hosted virtually from January to June 2025 and featured at the 21st European Congress on Digital Pathology (Barcelona, Spain, June 25–28), brought together more than 30 organizations to validate end-to-end workflows in varying categories, including image acquisition, storage, viewing, and AI-driven annotations, using DICOM standards. Gestalt reports that its platform stood out as a leader in interoperability, particularly as an image display, and that it’s viewer successfully displayed images from eight of nine different whole slide imaging scanners, demonstrating seamless compatibility with systems from 3DHistech, Grundium, Leica Biosystems, Hamamatsu, and Pramana. Gestalt said that PathFlow also excelled in displaying annotations from five AI evidence creators, including those from Visiopharm, Hologic, Techcyte, and Identify.bio.
