Horizon Discovery has entered into a nonexclusive license agreement with Sigma-Aldrich for use of its CompoZr zinc finger nuclease (ZFN) technology.
Horizon will use ZFN technology as part of its custom cell line generation service, where both ZFN’s technology and Horizon’s rAAV technologies will be applied, either independently or in combination, to deliver the full spectrum of genomic modifications efficiently and cost-effectively. The offering will be marketed under Horizon’s precision gene-editing brand, Genesis.
