June 2014—The Binding Site has expanded its offering of clinical and research products to include a distinctive group of horseradish peroxidase conjugated sheep antibodies specific to human IgA, IgG, and IgM immunoglobulins and their fractional components. The affinity-purified antibodies are designed for use in enzyme immunoassay test procedures. Potential cross-reactivity with bovine, mouse, and rat serum proteins has been minimized using an insoluble adsorption procedure. Available in an operator-oriented fill format of 1 mg.
The Binding Site is also offering a highly purified Sm antigen for use in solid-phase ELISA-based testing procedures. The antigen is sourced from bovine thymus muscle and displays a product purity level in excess of 90 percent, as assessed by SDS gel electrophoresis. Available in operator-oriented fill formats of 1 mg and 0.2 mg.
Also for use in ELISA-based test procedures is a highly purified, recombinant CENP-B antigen to detect anticentromere autoantibodies in human serum. A recombinant, full-length human-sequence protein expressed and purified in Sf9 insect cells constitutes this CENP-B antigen, which demonstrates a product purity level in excess of 90 percent, as assessed by SDS gel electrophoresis. Offered in operator-oriented fill formats of 0.2-mg and 1-mg vials. Customer-specific and bulk packaging configurations are available for the aforementioned products.
