Qiagen launches CE-IVDR-certified BCID panel

June 2026—Qiagen has released the CE-IVDR-certified QIAstat-Dx BCID GPF Plus AMR panel. The test identifies 20 Gram-positive bacterial and fungal pathogen targets and 10 antimicrobial resistance markers from positive blood cultures and pure colonies, delivering results in about one hour.  The launch marks the company’s expansion into bloodstream infection syndromic testing, building on panels for respiratory, gastrointestinal, and meningitis and encephalitis testing.
