At the AACC show 2015

The Binding Site announced the formation of its new Immunologicals Group. Formerly known as OEM, this new team will have a broad remit to encompass the sales, marketing, and support of specialist antibodies, antigens, disease state sera, and services to IVD manufacturers, research scientists, and academic facilities. The Immunologicals Group launched a new website (thespecimenbank.com) as a resource for IVD manufacturing companies and clinical/life science research facilities in search of high-quality clinical specimens.

Following currently established regulatory and quality standards guidelines, the Binding Site now offers a line of disease state sera, providing clinical materials from a variety of disease states, including human myeloma disorders, infection disease/viral positive materials, inflammatory disorders, and autoimmune conditions. Materials with a range of volumes come in a variety of formats, including serum, plasma, dialyzed serum, and defibrinated plasma. Representative test samples for evaluation can be obtained, as well as all pertinent product information and documentation.

New highly purified lines of antigens have been added to the company’s offerings. The Binding Site’s TORCH antigens and measles and mumps antigens were designed for use as an integral component within solid-phase ELISA-based immunoassay test procedures. The antigens exhibit purity levels as a result of either chromatography, cross-flow ultra-filtration, ultra-centrifugation, or extraction processes.
