March 31, 2023—Sarstedt’s new Needle-Free Transfer Urine Collection System is a closed urine collection system for needle-free transfer of urine from the needle-free cup or urine collection container to a Urine Monovette. The cup and collection container feature an integrated transfer unit with a pierceable membrane. After collecting a sample with a Urine Monovette, the membrane reseals immediately, ensuring hygienic and repeatable sample collection with no risk of accidental needle sticks. A needle-free transfer urine cup with a sample volume of 100 mL is offered as is a 3-L urine container.
