The controls contain intact, inactivated microorganisms suspended in a stabilized patient-like matrix and cover influenza A and B, human rhinovirus, human respiratory syncytial virus, SARS CoV-2, and S. pyogenes. They are instrument agnostic and supplied in single-use vials that can be stored at room temperature. MDx-Chex for RLP is for research use only.
