Streck releases MDx-Chex controls for sexual health testing

July 2026—Streck has launched MDx-Chex for Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Trichomonas vaginalis and MDx-Chex for MVP (multiplex vaginal panel) for research use only. The controls can be stored at room temperature, feature instrument-agnostic design, and contain intact, inactivated microorganisms suspended in a stabilized patient-like matrix to evaluate the molecular testing process from lysis to extraction to detection.
