Webinar presenter Allison M. Cushman-Vokoun, MD, PhD, FCAP, Medical Director, Molecular Diagnostics and Personalized Medicine Laboratory, Director, Division of Diagnostic Molecular Pathology and Human Genetics, Henry F. Krous Professor of Pathology, University of Nebraska Medical Center, leads a presentation exploring the value of in-house CGP, offers insights into the benefits and drawbacks of incorporation, and provides information about important practical factors when considering in-house implementation of CGP.
Comprehensive genomic profiling (CGP) is a valuable tool for analyzing clinical tumor specimens. Whereas it is most often considered important for the identification of targetable alterations in advanced cancers, it is also proving useful in planning therapeutic regimens in early cancer settings, offering clinical trial enrollment and in the identification of alterations that could change a diagnosis. Integration of CGP into in-house pathology workflows requires thoughtful deliberation, but its implementation can prove very useful to the clinicians, pathologists and patients that it supports. This presentation will discuss the value of in-house CGP, offer insights into the benefits and drawbacks of incorporation, and provide information about important practical factors when considering in-house implementation of CGP.
This on-demand webinar was originally broadcast on October 1, 2026.
Learning objectives?
