The liquid-stable, ready-to-use Matrix Plus Total Cholesterol Reference kit, Matrix Plus Total Cholesterol Reference kit level F, and HDL Cholesterol Verifier kit feature universal compatibility with a variety of automated clinical chemistry systems. The serum-like formulation contains a blend of highly purified human source material and bovine biologicals in saline.
The Matrix Plus Total Cholesterol Reference kit and optional level F comprise a six-level set with 15 mL of material, with total cholesterol values ranging from 40 to 750 mg/dL. Shelf life is 21 months from the date of manufacture when stored at 2° to 8°C. The HDL Cholesterol Verifier kit contains one six-level set with 5 mL at each level and has a shelf life of 14 months from the date of manufacture when stored at -15° to -25°C.
