October 2019—Menarini Silicon Biosystems launched its VRNxT, a sample preparation instrument that automates volume reduction steps in rare cell analysis workflows. The instrument processes up to four samples in less than one minute and can be used for live and fixed cells applications. It has two volume reduction programs for general purposes and two volume reduction programs dedicated to the DEPArray workflow. Upstream of the DEPArray systems, the VRNxT reduces the volume of input samples to approximately 12.5 µL in about 25 seconds and approximately 2 µL in about eight seconds.
