QFT-Plus added to Global Drug Facility catalog

January 2020—Qiagen’s QuantiFeron-TB Gold Plus has been added to the diagnostic catalog of the Stop TB Partnership’s Global Drug Facility. The GDF provides quality-assured tuberculosis medicines, diagnostics, and laboratory supplies to the public sector.

In partnership with Ellume, Qiagen is developing QuantiFeron-TB Access, a proprietary QuantiFeron-based workflow designed to bring the technology to communities lacking access to complex laboratory infrastructure. Commercialization is expected to begin this year.
