July 29, 2025—Ascentry, formerly BYG4lab, officially debuted at the Association for Diagnostics and Laboratory Medicine annual meeting (Chicago, July 27–31). With its rebranding, the company is introducing a broader mission—to deliver modular, vendor-neutral software solutions that help laboratories overcome data overload, staff shortages, and mounting regulatory pressure. “Ascentry is more than a new name. It reflects our ambition to bring clarity and harmony to diagnostic workflows and uncover the insights hidden in lab data,” said Cyril Verhille, CEO of Ascentry, in a press release.
The company’s product portfolio includes Validation Manager, a cloud-based platform that automates instrument and method validation; Lab Composer, a module middleware solution that streamlines data management across in vitro diagnostic systems and LIS platforms; POC Controller, a vendor-neutral platform that manages point-of-care devices; and Infection Tracker, which connects microbiology labs and prevention teams to support infection control, outbreak detection, and antimicrobial stewardship.
