Streck’s A1c-Cellular is now assayed for the Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics Vitros 4600. A1c-Cellular is an HbA1c control with intact red blood cells and tests the entire HbA1c procedure, including the lysing of the red blood cell.
A1c-Cellular is available in plastic cap-pierceable vials, which allow autosampling for HbA1c analyzers with such capabilities. The product is a ready-to-use liquid control appropriate for immunoassay and ionic exchange high performance liquid chromatography methodologies, with 180-day closed-vial stability and 30-day open-vial stability.
