September 2024—Agilent Technologies released in June its 2023 environmental, social, and governance report, showcasing sustainable solutions that enable labs worldwide to reduce consumption of nonrenewable resources and minimize waste.
Highlights from the ESG initiatives include refurbishing 5,400 instruments, which is a 25 percent increase from the previous year, and expanding the number of instruments that have the My Green Lab Accountability, Consistency, and Transparency label. Agilent’s ACT-certified products now account for 40 percent of the company’s instrument revenues. Agilent is also delivering asset monitoring technology to manage lab resources more efficiently, offering instruments and consumables that use less energy and produce less waste, and adopting greener product packaging.
