Medical and surgical gender-affirmation therapies for transgender people have introduced a new spectrum to pathology practices. Sex hormones influence both anatomic and clinical pathology, which can complicate result interpretation for surgical specimens, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology. This activity provides tools to help you successfully serve the transgender population and address the needs of your clinical colleagues in this regard.
This activity was originally presented at CAP23 as part of the activity Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Needs in Transgender Care.
Online course was released on 3/4/2024 and will end on 3/3/2027.
