February 2018—Approximately 250 professionals attended an inspector training program organized by National Reference Laboratory, part of Mubadala’s network of health care providers, and the College of American Pathologists. Faculty included members of the CAP leadership as well as worldwide and local experts experienced with the quality accreditation process. The program, which took place in November in Abu Dhabi, UAE, was designed to raise awareness of CAP checklists and their impact on quality patient care.

The program, which saw the participation of leading experts from the CAP, our partner LabCorp, and NRL, provided a platform to share our knowledge and experience with the regional medical community, aligned with our mission to improve the standards of laboratory excellence and patient care,” Abdul Hamid Oubeisi, CEO of NRL, said in a statement.
National Reference Laboratory is the largest CAP-accredited laboratory network in the Middle East.
