June 2014—The Minivette POC testing devices from Sarstedt are for the collection, transfer, and subsequent dispensing of small capillary blood samples for point-of-care tests. Blood is collected via capillary action into the collection capillary, the sample is held securely during transfer, and then it is dispensed onto the test field or into a micro tube with a slight push of the opposing integral piston.
The devices accommodate blood volumes of 20 µL, 50 µL, 100 µL, and 200 µL and are offered plain or prepared with EDTA or heparin.
