December 2022—Primera Technology showcased its Signature EVO slide and cassette printers at the National Society for Histotechnology convention.
The slide and cassette printers with the integrated PTLab software allow users to print text, graphics, logos, and linear or 2D barcodes directly onto slides and cassettes. The systems print in black or color at 300 dpi, on demand or in batches, and are able to integrate with laboratory information systems with an ethernet or USB interface. The slide printer stores 100 slides in easy-to-load cartridges, the company says, and prints up to 10 slides per minute. The cassette printer holds 40 cassettes in each of the four hoppers is available as a standalone manual printer or as a fully automated system.
