February 2019—Binding Site’s Immunologicals Group has added to its line of products purified proteins to be used for the analysis and testing of hepatitis. The proteins have been designed for use as components within enzyme immunoassay test procedures and include HBs antigen types ay and ad, HBV core antigen 9, HBV e antigen 10, HDV antigens 3 and 10, HCV antigen N7, and HCV core antigen C6. They feature outstanding levels of purity, demonstrate exceptional lot-to-lot consistencies, and display exceptional shelf-life stability claims from the date of manufacture.

The company also announced the addition of eight recombinant parvovirus antigens to its offering of products for in vitro diagnostic manufacturing and research applications. The parvovirus NS1, parvovirus PepA (VP1 unique), parvovirus PepB (VP2 C-term.), parvovirus PepC (VP1 N-term.), parvovirus PepD (VP1 C-term.), parvovirus VP1, parvovirus VP2, and parvovirus VP2 VLP antigens have been designed for use as components within solid phase enzyme immunoassay test procedures, especially ELISAs. The antigens are E. coli source-derived recombinant proteins, which exhibit exceptional purity levels as a result of exclusive chromatographic manufacturing techniques, the company reports, and demonstrate exceptional lot-to-lot consistencies and high degrees of activity and specificity. They feature a shelf-life stability claim of 10 years from the date of manufacture and are offered in a standard-size 1.0-mg filled vial.
