May 2016—The Sarstedt Group has acquired the laboratory automation business of m-u-t GmbH, headquartered in Wedel, Germany, and its direct customer business worldwide. Sarstedt acquired the m-u-t America segment, in Richmond, Va., as part of the transaction. The production, sales, and service activities of High-Speed Closed Tube Sorter HCTS2000 MK2 units of m-u-t GmbH are included in this acquisition.
