January 2024—Smart In Media announced the release of its PathoZoom LiveView Macro camera and PathoZoom software. The camera is installed above the cutting station, allowing users to capture the view at the grossing table to broadcast the view live and add it as an image to the patient’s medical records. The system reads barcodes to ensure images are correctly and automatically assigned to cases.
Images can be incorporated into the PathoZoom Digital Lab, an image management system that interfaces seamlessly with the local LIS.
