April 2020—Streck released CE-marked ARM-D kits for the OXA, MCR, and TEM/SHV/GES gene families.
Streck ARM-D kits are comprehensive, real-time PCR kits that detect more than 1,000 antimicrobial resistance gene variants, including carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae, carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter, ampCs, extended-spectrum beta-lactamases, and mobilized colistin resistance. The OXA, MCR, and TEM/SHV/GES kits are available in the European Union and Canada; in other regions they are for research use only.
